GMBS Design has been contracted to engineer ~120 tons of steel, included 8 levels for Raw mill equipment support. During the project we supplied the design of secondary structures, main and secondary staircases, and chequer plates.

 

One of the main challenges was to design the platform to the quite complicated equipment arrangement.

 

GMBS Design has worked together with the Norwegian Multiconsult company as the main contractor and designer of the building. The common work included exchange of precise loading data and more than 300 connection details.
